JMNB Musical Emerging Artists Tour

CONCERT : « JMNB Musical Emerging Artists Tour »  will feature students from the two New Brunswick University Music Departments  (Moncton and Mount Allison). as well as other privately-educated students from provincial centres.  Discover the irresistible charms of guitar, flute, voice and piano.  Presented by Jeunesses Musicales New Brunswick in collaboration with Jeunesses musicales Dalhousie on Saturday, March 12 at LER Theatre at 7 :30 pm. As part of Emerging Artist Concerts Tour, Jeunesses Musicales Canada is proud to present Havana Sky, a feisty guitar duo.  Alejandro Vega & Gabriela Iznardo, two Hispanic Canadians, will make you fall in love with exotic rhythms and melodies. CONCERT : To celebrate the end of its 30th anniversary festivities in a grand fashion,  Jeunesses Musicales Dalhousie will welcome Symphony New Brunswick conducted by Mélanie Léonard. « French Connection » will feature works by Bizet, Saint-Saëns, Debussy and others.  The concert will take place at LER Theatre on Saturday, May 28, at 7 :30 pm.  Admission is $20 (adults) with free entry for students. For information, call Claudette Thériault at 684-3965.
