Fire Prevention at Académie Notre Dame

December 15 2014

Two students from the Académie Notre-Dame school of Dalhousie earned each a beautiful backpack filled with necessities for the prevention of fires at home.

The Chaleur Firefighters Association have chosen at random three winners among all participants and two of these winners are from our school, and even of the same class.

Ms. Marthe Bernard, their teacher, held a discussion on the importance of fire prevention week. By registering, her students have shown their support to the cause and ultimately won.

Fire prevention week is sponsored by the Public Safety NB, in partnership with the New Brunswick Fire Chiefs Association.

The school participate in this week by receiving copies of the bulletin which contained games, puzzles and information on fire safety for children and their families.
