TOWN OF DALHOUSIE
MUNICIPAL PLAN & ZONING BY-LAW
The Municipal Council of the Town of Dalhousie is considering an amendment to the Municipal Plan of the Town, being By-law 805-08, and an amendment to the Zoning By-law of the Town, being By-law 806-11.
The proposed amendment to the Municipal Plan, to add a new policy that will set out the criteria for a rezoning to a new zone, called the “Heritage Mixed Use Zone”, was presented on June 30th, 2014.
The purpose of the proposed amendment to the Municipal Plan is to allow an amendment to the Zoning By-law to add new provisions pertaining to the new “Heritage Mixed Use Zone” and to rezone the property located at 104 Farm Lane, and a proposed parcel, to the “Heritage Mixed Use Zone”, subject to conditions.
The proposed amendments may be examined at the Town Hall during working hours. Council will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall on Thursday, August 14th, 2014 at 7:00 pm, to review written objections received. Any person wishing to speak in favor or against those objections shall have an opportunity to do so at this hearing.
Written objections to the proposed amendments shall be addressed to Council and shall be received by the undersigned until 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 14th, 2014.
