NB Trail will be a 2000-km multi-purpose all season recreational trail connecting communities throughout the province. There are numerous trails in the area that are ideal for hiking, cycling, horseback riding, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling (where permitted). Presently, the NB trail in Dalhousie stretches out for 7 km, but construction is underway to complete the trail, which will connect Bathurst and Campbellton. The trail winds through industrial, urban and forested areas of Dalhousie while maintaining a view of the Bay of Chaleur, Restigouche River and Appalachian Mountains.

Home of the Jr. NB Ladies Golf Champion: Kim Adams Home of a 1997 Willingdon Cup Team Member: Wellman Bruce Restigouche Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, 5641 Yard Ladies Par 73, Men’s Par 70 golf course and has a slope rating of 126. From the course is a magnificent view of the Restigouche and Appalachian mountain range. The Golf Club offers tee times for members as well as Guests, licensed bar, full canteen services. Club rentals are available as well as rentals of pull and motorized carts, and a fully equipped Pro shop, licensed bar and canteen are also on site.

Dalhousie offers the new and fast growing sport of sea kayaking, an activity which promotes healthy living and offers the opportunity to take advantage of the great outdoors, either in fresh or salt water. Kayak tour adventurers sit comfortably in our custom designed wood kayaks built by Inch Arran Expeditions.

Mountain Brook Stables was established in 1997 as a boarding stable. Since then, it has grown and is now offering public trail rides and riding lessons for people of all ages. The professional services offered at Mountain Brook Stables include boarding, transportation, lessons, birthday parties and gift certificates.

Recreaplex is a multipurpose facility, which includes a beautifully designed indoor 25-meter pool with a 100 foot water slide, tarzan rope, kiddy pool and slide, sauna and hot tub. Recreaplex also has a new and top of the line fitness center which carries Nautilus and Atlantis Equipment, treadmills, rowers, free weights, bicycles, a ski machine and an elliptical trainer.
